Medicare beneficiaries have brand-new alternative
More than 130,000 Medicare beneficiaries in Wisconsin now have a brand-new choice for accessing health care services. As of Sept. 1, people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage prepares who reside in central, northern and northeastern Wisconsin may access care on an in-network basis at Ministry Health Care’s network of medical facilities, centers and other health-related organizations.Ministry Health Care’s network includes 15 health centers, 46 clinics and almost 700 physicians and advanced practice clinicians. As part of the broadened relationship, Ministry Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare will be working together, in partnership with Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin, to enhance the coordination and shipment of take care of Medicare beneficiaries in Wisconsin.
